Oracle Solicitors was founded by Sajjad Shan in 2002. Starting with only three staff members and a small office, Oracle’s practical and problem-solving approach to its clients’ needs has led it to grow into an international law firm with specialised teams providing deep expertise in a wide range of practice areas. Practicing lawyers and trainees are nurtured and guided through qualification to help them reach their potential and become fully-fledged solicitors. Originally a non-practicing lawyer, Claire joined as a practicing solicitor in 2010 and has climbed the ranks  to become a director.

Recognizing that EU regulatory requirements can be particularly burdensome for those seeking to access the European market from outside. Oracle now has an office in Addis Ababa, serving entrepreneurs in East Africa. The international coverage of their work has attracted interest from other law firms worldwide, seeking closer association and partnership with Oracle.

Oracle has gained a brilliant reputation for assisting with refusals and appeals, thanks to its proven expertise in challenging immigration decisions against the Home Office and defending its clients’ right to remain in the UK.

One significant area of growth for the firm has been in the aviation sector. It is a highly regulated area, and the expanding team of specialists at the firm has brought in-depth knowledge of air transport regulation, along with industry-specific expertise in licenses, industry commercial contracts, competition, mergers regulation, and corporate law.

The firm has successfully won extradition proceedings against the Russian Federation and continues to fight extradition proceedings for our extensive list of clients.
